Longest Night
December 21st is the winter solstice here in the northern hemisphere. It’s the longest night of the year, and for those of us who have recently lost someone we love, it can be one of the loneliest, hardest nights of the year. In times like this, Cathedral’s care team wants to offer you a service to remind you that you are not alone, and to help you grieve through one of the hardest times of the year.
We will hold a longest night service on Saturday, December 21st, at 6:00 in the Sanctuary at our Amity Campus. This is a meditative service built to offer a space to those in mourning this Advent season. We offer prayer candles, music, and liturgy to honor those who have passed.
You are not alone. We will stand with you.
