Good Friday Service
Good Friday is the day we honor the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Jesus was betrayed, tried under Pontius Pilate, and was crucified on Calvary outside Jerusalem. Jesus sacrificed himself in forgiveness of our sins. We offer thanks for the love of Jesus, for the lesson of grace that not only touches us but also takes hold of us and bids us embrace others with caring.
We honor this moment with a special service on March 29th at 6 pm at our Downtown Campus and Amity Campus sanctuaries. Join us for the solemnity and beauty of scripture and music. The Cathedral Choir and Cathedral Handbell Choir will perform, with accompaniment by violist Ana Robins. You can view this service online. This is usually considered one of our most moving services of the year. Please join us for this Good Friday service.
