During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Cathedral of the Rockies family banned together to open a food pantry in an effort to end food insecurity in Boise. All these years later, our food pantry helps save 55 families, around 300 individuals, from food insecurity each week. Even so, we still have a lot of work to do, and you can help!
The Amity Food Pantry opens its doors each week on Monday evening from 4:30 to 7:30. Our shelves are stocked with donated food that our guest are invited to take from as they need. The food is distributed respectfully with a human touch. Our volunteers keep shelves stocked and distribute produce and refrigerated items according to nutritional needs. The food pantry is open to all in need.
