One of our scheduled speakers for Northwest Leadership Institute in 2024 is Jamie Bruesehoff. Jamie Bruesehoff is an LGBTQ+ advocate and the author of Raising Kids Beyond the Binary, a guide to help Christian parents fully embrace their LGBTQ+ children.

On Tuesday, April 28th, at 7 pm, Jamie Bruesehoff will end off NLI with a free talk that’s open to the community. She’ll lead a discussion on her books and her journey raising a trans teenager. Jamie will share her experiences traveling around the country and leading discussions on LGBTQ+ inclusion in churches. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and help form a productive discussion around making our LGBTQ+ siblings feel included and accepted.

This event will take place in the Emmaus Center at our Downtown Campus. You do not need to be signed up for NLI to participate in this event.
