Friendship Feast
Every Sunday at 12:30 pm, and every 3rd Thursday of the month at 5 pm, we cook and serve meals for those experiencing food insecurity. We typically serve about 70 guests.
Habitat for Humanity
In partnership with Habitat for Humanity and CrossRoads Mission we build the frame for a house with 150-200 people of all ages. Donations are collected throughout the year to help pay for the home’s lumber.
Baby Needs
46% of children under the age of 3 live in families with low income. The Baby Needs mission partners with the Idaho Diaper Bank to help alleviate the expense of these family’s basic needs.
Holiday Food Boxes
The Cathedral of the Rockies provides food boxes about 2 weeks before Christmas to food-insecure families in our community who have children in our area schools.
Lunch Bags
This mission meets the need for lunches during the week to anyone wanting a lunch. Contents of the lunch bags come exclusively from donations by our congregation:
- Pork & Beans– pop top, single serving, no vienna sausage
- Fruit or Applesauce cups
- Pudding cups
- Tuna 2.5oz foil pouch

Hillside Reading Partners
Volunteer Partners read and converse with students to improve their proficiency with the vagaries of the English language, while showing love for our neighbors. Most of the students served are refugees.
Mirror Image
Mirror Image provides free hygiene products to homeless or otherwise disadvantaged students in the Boise School District.
Safe Families
Safe Families is an organization dedicated to keeping children safe and families together. Their goal is to prevent child abuse and neglect while reducing the number of children unnecessarily entering the child welfare system. Cathedral of the Rockies is partnering with Safe Families to help provide host homes for children of families close to entering the foster care system and potentially being separated.
