LOCAL MISSIONS
Lunch Bag Ministry

This mission meets the need for lunches during the week to anyone wanting a lunch. Contents of the lunch bags come exclusively from donations by our congregation:

  • High-protein pouches of tuna or chicken
  • High protein granola bars
  • Fruit pudding cups
  • Shelf-stable yogurt pouches

You can drop donations off at the church either at the front desk or labeled donation bins by the coffee bar.

Diaper Ministry

46% of children under the age of 3 live in families with low income. The Diaper Ministry partners with the Idaho Diaper Bank to help alleviate the expense of a family’s basic need.

You can help out by donating diapers and wipes! Sizes 4 – 6 are often the biggest needs for diapers. You can drop off any donations at the church at the front desk.

Friendship Feast

Every Sunday at 12:30 pm, and every 3rd Thursday of the month at 5 pm, we cook and serve meals for those experiencing food insecurity. We typically serve about 70 guests.

We are always looking for new volunteers, especially for cooks! Volunteer by submitting the form linked below.

You can volunteer to help at the Food Pantry here!

Desert Sage Elementary

Desert Sage Elementary is a community school that serves families in the neighborhoods around the Amity Campus where there are many immigrant, food insecure, and impoverished families. Our mission is to ensure that the children at Desert Sage Elementary will have sufficient food, clothing in good repair, school supplies, and a gift at Christmas.
