Outreach

First United Methodist Church members express Christianity in service to others via local community involvement.

Coat and Blanket Drive

Hundreds of items are donated for the annual coat and blanket drive and are given to those in need. Sponsored by the Finance Committee.

Community Garden

The garden site is the lot north of our church between Hayes and Fort Streets and you can see the changes already. Water has been generously donated from United Water and seedlings are busy growing away in homes and greenhouses throughout our wonderful town. A weekly commitment of 3-5 hours will guarantee a box of fresh veggies each time we harvest. Consider how much time you and your family would like to make and enjoy the fun of working together and tasting the fresh veggies as your great rewards from the garden.

The garden website continues to be updated several times a week. There you'll find pictures, news, and LOTS of information. Have a look! www.boisegardenstogether.org
