The first-ever winner of the American Choral Directors Association's prestigious Raymond W. Brock Memorial Student Composition Competition Award (1999) for Flanders Fields, Paul Aitken has continued to make significant strides in the field of choral music. Dr. Aitken's numerous compositions have been performed and recorded throughout the United States, in Canada, and in Europe. He is published in the Lawson/Gould catalog (a division of Alfred Publications) and under the FlandersPublications.com label. Inspirational and visionary, Aitken is both the founder of the Cathedral Conservatory, the Cathedral Concert Series, as well as the Les Bois Chamber Singers.
