FaithWork: God’s Love in Action

FaithWork provides a meaningful way to serve God by serving those in need. Members of The Cathedral of the Rockies and the community can participate in monthly service activities that typically last one to four hours. Most projects are suitable for children.

When is FaithWork?

FaithWork meets one Saturday each month.  Please see the list of previous activities as well as future projects.  People must pre-register by contacting Director of Outreach, Cindy Todeschi or by calling the church at 343-7511 ext. 253.

FaithWork Schedule:

  • February 13, 2010: Big Brothers Big Sisters – Bowl for Kids’ Sake and Habitat for Humanity help with finish work on a home. 
  • March 13, 2010: sorting food at The Idaho Food Bank.
  • April 10, 2010: Organize household storage warehouse for Center for New Americans.
  • May 15, 2010:  Work in the Community Garden on the block to the north of the church to prep for planting.
  • June 12, 2010:  Volunteer to help paint a house with Boise’s “Paint the Town.”
  • June 26, 2010: Clean up Mark’s House and the yard across the street from the church to prepare for our new youth minister and his wife to move in.
  • August 21, 2010: Help sort food at the Idaho Food Bank from 9 until noon. We need 15 people to participate!
  • September 18, 2010: Boise River Sweep -- 9am to 12noon.  We need 35 people to form two teams to clean the river banks.
